Transnational Students Tutoring

Wenshan District’s Ankang Community has many new residents, and we have discovered that their children face many hardships in school and in life, the most important of these hardships being the transfer to Chinese. In order to help these transfer students,  we will match them with NCCU’s master degree students learning to be Chinese teachers as well as classmates who are interested in being Chinese tutors at elementary and middle schools. These services assist children do their school work, allowing both the student and the tutor to improve and grow together.  

 

Currently, the One-on-One Tutoring for Transfer Students has NCCU students coming to the center to tutor Chinese once a week. The cooperating schools include: Mingdao Elementary, Lixing Elementary, Shijian Elementary, Shijian Middle School and Muzha Middle School.
